Jim Gooch is a lifelong woodworker with a long time interest in heritage conservation. For many years he has operated a small conservation practice, taking care of furniture, architectural components and assorted woodenware.
He indulges his own creativity through furniture making and his carvings.
Jim lives and works in the Ganaraska River watershed near Port Hope, Ontario.
